Ready, Set, Oktoberfest!
Although we started planning this trip months ago, we were months late planning for our Oktoberfest adventure. As we found out, the weekend we are planning on visiting Munich and experiencing Oktoberfest is Italian Weekend, meaning every Italian between the ages of 18 and 24 converges on Munich and occupies every hotel, hostel, friend's apartment, and empty Fiat in Munich. After a hasty scrammble to find a place and a train to/from Munich we're all set.

I see a warm weather plan here, from Germany to China and then Australia. Hmmm back to Michigan and then Chicago/Ill in January, back your woolies.....
